Who We Are
The American Hunting Lease Association is a small, dedicated team of outdoorsmen and women, insurance professionals and advocates with a passion for solving problems.
The American Hunting Lease Association
We created the American Hunting Lease Association in 2010 on the simple principle that landowners hold the keys (literally and figuratively) to the future of hunting in America and must be protected from liability claims. Leasing or granting access to their private land allows hunters seeking a safe, ethical hunting experience to create opportunities for themselves, their families, and friends. From our inception, we have worked hard to provide innovative and affordable tools like hunting lease, hunt club and vacant land liability insurance packages to address the concerns landowners have regarding allowing access to their farms and properties.
Like any proactive organization, we have evolved and have expanded our services over the last few years. Protecting the assets of landowners that offer paid and unpaid access to their land for all types of recreation (hiking, fishing, camping, hunting) is vital to the growth of all outdoor activities. Our vacant land liability policy even provides liability protection from trespassers!
We are firm in our belief that the more acreage we can help make available for access by hunters and other recreational enthusiasts the healthier our sport and all outdoor recreation will be.
We are a small but driven team of outdoorsmen and women, insurance professionals and advocates with a passion for solving problems. Our offices are located just outside Indianapolis in the great state of Indiana. When we aren’t serving our members, we can usually be found enjoying a campfire with family, hiking or tending to our own hunting leases not far away!
